Gain a marketable, independently recognized certification as an accredited commissioning process provider. An examination is one requirement for receiving this certification from UW–Madison. Current certifications offered by the University of Wisconsin–Madison are:

  • CxAPSM – Accredited Commissioning Process Authority Professional (also CxP)
  • CxMSM – Accredited Commissioning Process Manager
  • CxTSSM – Accredited Commissioning Process Technical Support Provider (also CTS)
  • GCxPSM – Accredited Green Commissioning Process Provider (also GCP)
  • QCxPSM – Accredited Qualified Commissioning Process Provider (also QCP)
You may apply for more than one certification. The entry-level certification is the Qualified Commissioning Process Provider (QCxPSM).

To obtain certification as an accredited commissioning process provider, you must complete 5 days of CxP training, complete the certification orientation/requirements training session, and pass the certification exam to qualify. Cancellation Policy If you cannot attend, please notify us by August 9, and we will refund your fee. Cancellations received after this date and no-shows are subject to a $150 administrative fee. You may enroll a substitute at any time before the course starts.
