Gain a marketable, independently recognized certification as an accredited commissioning process provider. An examination is one requirement for receiving this certification from UW–Madison. Current certifications offered by the University of Wisconsin–Madison are:

CxAP^SM – Accredited Commissioning Process Authority Professional (also CxP)
CxM^SM – Accredited Commissioning Process Manager
CxTS^SM – Accredited Commissioning Process Technical Support Provider (also CTS)
GCxP^SM – Accredited Green Commissioning Process Provider (also GCP)
QCxP^SM – Accredited Qualified Commissioning Process Provider (also QCP)

You may apply for more than one certification. The entry-level certification is the Qualified Commissioning Process Provider (QCxP^SM).

To obtain certification as an accredited commissioning process provider, you must complete 5 days of CxP training, complete the certification orientation/requirements training session, and pass the certification exam to qualify.
